2) Identify the type of treatedsteel(alloy?) with values similar to the following:
Modulus of Elasticity = 326.07 MPa
Ultimate Tensile Strenght (UTS) = 408.97 MPa
Cup Cone Fracture
Toughness = 140.91 MPa
My guess is that this one is some type of heat treatedsteel, the steel being the same type as 1) but I do not know how toidentify it.
3) Identify the type of brass (alloy?)with values similar to the following:
Modulus of Elasticity = 84.88 MPa
Ultimate Tensile Strenght (UTS) = 480.34 MPa
Diaginal, Rough Fracture
Toughness = 76.47 MPa
All of these values have been calculated from a TensileTest machine and by hand so there is room for error.
