Discussion: I find Social Psychology extremelyfascinating. Virtually everything we do, feel, or think is relatedin some way to the social side of life. Our relations with otherpeople are so central to our lives and happiness that it is hard toimagine existing without them, and it is this basic fact that makessocial psychology so fascinating and essential. A lot of socialpsychological research involves surprising or shocking results thatrequired extreme experimental situations. Some of these researchpractices have now been determined unethical.
Discussion Questions: Please discuss at leastone piece of social psychological evidence you find importantenough to merit the potential danger to participants and at leastone that you believe was not worth the risk to participants andshould not have been conducted.
