Mr. Abdullah and his wife both lived together in Oman and went to England for a holiday. During
the holidays, Mrs. Abdullah became ill and was advised by the doctors to stay back in England.
But due to work pressure husband goes back to his place leaving his wife back in England. An
agreement was made orally between them that Mr. Abdullah will provide his wife 300 OMR every
month as an allowance. For a few months, he gave as he promised. Then, he decided to get
separated from his wife. Mr. Abdullah stopped sending 300 OMR as an allowance to Mrs.
Abdullah. Mrs. Abdullah filed a complaint against Mr. Abdullah for not paying the allowance.
