(b) A rectangular metallic waveguide has dimensions, a = 3.0 cmand b = 4.0 cm. Find out the modes (TE and TM) in which a freespace wavelength of 4.5 cm could propagate through it.
(c) A waveguide has an inside dimension of 6cm x 1cm. Find thefirst 3 modes and its cut-off frequencies. In the situation whereyou would want to have only one mode of propagation, what will bethe proposed frequency range?
