The Psychoanalytic Theory of Dreams was developed by Sigmund freud whereas the Activationsynthesis model of dreaming was developed by Hobson and McCarley Lets understand the difference between these two different theories of dreaming about recurrence of dreams Consistent with the psychoanalytic perspective Sigmund Freuds theory of dreams instructed that dreams represented unconscious desires thoughts and motivations in keeping with Freuds psychoanalytic view of personality people are driven by aggressive and sexual instincts that are pentup from conscious awareness whereas these thoughts arent consciously expressed analyst instructed that they notice their approach    See Answer
