I came up with a venture design idea of Cardboard WindowBlinds instead of the conventional wood blinds or paperblinds for my finals.
I was taught that the definition of distinctivecompetency follows the VRIO framework i.e. Truedistinctive competency means a product has to be: Valuable to yourcustomer, Rare among solution providers, superior to those of othercompetitors and Costly for others to imitate!.
QUESTION: Product: Cardboard Window Blind
Imagine you are the one developing this product, What would bethe striking Distinctive Competency(s) (i.e. Valuable, Rare,Superior and Costly to imitate advantage) of the Cardboard WindowsBlind(blind made from Cardboards) as compared to other alreadyexisting alternatives such as Wood Blinds, paper blinds andcurtains etc. Why would this your product be unique, what aboutthis offering would be so compelling for your target customerse.g.Family and Home eco-friendly aesthetic Decors lovers, Hotelsowners, restaurants etc.
I basically need an award winning selling point for thedistinctive competency of this Product.
