I can't really understand why two higgs doublets are required inSUSY.
From the literature, I have found opaque explanations that saysomething along the lines of: the superpotential W must be aholomorphic function of the chiral supermutiplets and thus we needto introduce another chiral supermutiplet.
I also know that this is somehow related to an anomalycancellation. Can somebody help to make this a bit more clear?

The anomalies in four dimensions are calculated from atriangular Feynman diagram with a chiral leftrightasymmetricwhen it comes to the couplings with the gauge bosons or gravitonsfermion running in the loop and three gauge bosons andorgravitons attached at the vertices For the Standard Model allthe gauge anomalies cancel both leptons and quarks must beincluded otherwise it wouldnt work its somewhat nontrivialalthough the cancellation may be reduced to
