Question
Accounting
If P owns 100% of S Corporation when it is purchased fully by R Corporation will the subsidiary of S follow with P? So, would the affiliated group be comprised of R, P, and S Corporations, with R becoming the parent company or will it be comprised of R and P Corporations, with R becoming the parent company? (R Corp has no subsidiaries prior to purchasing P)
To be more specific, I am just trying to figure out if S Corp will carry over with P when it is purchased by R.
