In order to investigate if the systolic blood pressuremeasurements vary in standing and lying positions the systolicblood pressure levels of a sample of 12 persons were measured inboth positions (first in standing position and then in lyingposition). The data of this experiment are recorded in SSPSfile.
- A researcher believes the mean systolic blood pressure level instanding position is more than that in lying position. Test theappropriate hypothesis to investigate the researcher’s belief atalpha=0.05.
- Find the 95% confidence interval for the difference in meansystolic blood pressure levels in two positions. Interpret theresult.
