In the early stages of CoVID 19 many public figures comparedcoronavirus to the influenza virus. The basis for this claim wasbecause they both cause respiratory illness and because the flushows seasonality they thought so would coronavirus. However theviruses that cause flu and CoVID 19 are very different from eachother.
