Motivating employee is of key concern to most firms, especiallythose operating in the competitive Ghanaian metal industrialenvironments. To these firm-types, human resource is consideredunique, and the management of employees’ motivational expectationsis deemed a prerequisite for organizational success. This mindsethas necessitated the need for such firms to look for best ways ofdeveloping work-motivation systems at their workplaces that areallen compassing and which can have the potency to satisfyemployees’ work-motivational expectations and create the requisitedriving forces in them towards increased performances andproductivities.
