AFTER hardening proceess of carbon steels strucutre obtained is
martensite.
this is the hardest and toughest structure than pearlite,
bainite and spherodite. in this process steel is being heated above
the upper critical temperature (723 degree centigrade) and then
cooling is being done at very faster rate (greater than critical
cooling rate)
