One of the major problems that railway industries havefaced since the earliest days is the prevention of service failuresin running rail. As is the case will all modes of high-speedtravel, failures of an essential component can have seriousconsequences. Rail is manufactured in different weights andconditions, and therefore, there are pursued a significant numberof potential defects. In order to overcome the failure to occurduring operating, a special predictive tool needs to be implementedto make sure the rail is safe and operating in normal condition.Thus, the objective of this project is to enhance the predictivemonitoring assessment system for the railway running rail byestimating the fracture damage behaviour of the rail structure. Thefibre optics will be used as a sensor device to measure the signalof the strain-stress in running rail. Suggest the steps orprocedures that need to be carried out to measure the strain-stresssignal in the railway running rail. Is that any possible errorsthat might be existing while capturing the data?
