Patient Zero Simulation Procedure (need help if you've already done this simulation on Harvard Business Publishing Education sight and can help me through it)

You Will Define Your Country at the Start of the Simulation:

Select Country Features Name, Type of Economy, Type of Govt., Type of Culture

Determine Country Population

Determine Country Attributes Allocate to 5 choices (Economy, Health, Infrastructure, Institutions, Military)

Select Additional Country Details Country Motto, Country Cuisine, Emblem, Type of Leader, Focus of Economy, Tourist Sites

Scenario 1 Extend Military Protection for Pilgrimage to Faith Tower (50,000 Pilgrims over 1 week)? Does your government allow or ban the pilgrimage?

Scenario 2 Insight Technology Blood Testers Have a 20% False Positive Error Rate, but Insight denies this reality and you have evidence from a whistleblower proving the faulty blood testers. Do you go public or keep quiet about the faulty blood testers?

Scenario 3 Will the Bilbring & Hite Pharmaceuticals alleged Anti-Zombie pseudo vaccine work? Its a helpful drug reducing infection but not effective as a vaccine. Does your government subsidize production of the drug, or not?

Scenario 4 Zepher Computing IConnex Virtual Hub allowing access to personal behavior data that could prove useful in tracking people. Issue is this software is against the law. Does your government run the illegal software because there is not enough time for legislation to make it legal?

Scenario 5 Oh my, half of the city is infected. Do you order a military assault to eliminate any risk of virus spread by the infected citizens?

SCORING CRITERIA:

A score for each of the 5 scenarios will be automatically generated as you conduct the simulation. The maximum score on each scenario varies but it will range between 0 and 13 points (your choices and a random factor determine score).

Im not using timers, so you have no time limits on any portion of the simulation.

DO NOT EVER DEFER A DECISION DURING THE SIMULATION, IT WILL HURT YOUR SCORE!

You will end the simulation with a % infected, public morale (low, medium or high) and % of country collapse. Your score for % infected will range between 10 and 20 points (the lower the infection rate, the higher your score). Your score for country collapse will range between 6 and 14 points (the lower the chance of country collapse, the higher your score). Your public morale score will be 0 points for having Low country morale, 4 points for having Medium country morale, and 8 points for having High country morale.

Class scores will range between a possible low of 70% and a possible high of 100% , and will be graded on a curve with an average of 80%. The top scoring student will score 100% for each scenario, and the lowest scoring student will score 70% for each scenario.
