The pistonexecutes 9 up strokes and 9 down strokes in 1.5 minutes then doesnothing for 3.5 minutes, then repeats the cycle. The air isregulated to enter at 590 kPa.g. and in this machine the pressurein the cylinder may be taken to be this for the full stroke.
