Harvest Steakhouse offers a variety of low-cost meals and quick service to the University of Windsor community. Other than management, Harvest hires university students as their part-time employees who are scheduled for 4-hour shifts during the day. On each weekday, Harvest is open from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Management wants to develop a schedule for part-time employees that will minimize labour costs and still provide excellent customer service. The part-time employees are paid at $12.60 per hour. The total number of employees needed varies with the time of day as shown below: PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM USING EXCEL. Assume that the daily operation of Harvest is completely performed by part-time employees and the management assumes only administrative tasks. The management now wishes to develop a minimum cost schedule to maintain its daily operation.
