The Department of Health needs to distribute HIV test kits from its 7 regional offices (RO) to 11 syringe exchange programs (SEPs) across New York. Each syringe exchange program (SEP) submitted its requested number of HIV test kits to the Department of Health, and the Department of Health regional offices have sufficient supplies to distribute. The Department of Health wants to minimize the total cost to distribute HIV test kits across the state. The LP Model tab of the Excel spreadsheet contains a table that shows the cost to ship each box of HIV test kits from the 7 regional offices to the 11 SEPs.
