(THERMODYNAMICS) A vertical cylinderfitted with a frictionless piston contains 1.5 kg of H2O initiallyat 100 °C, 400 kPa.  If the volume of the system reaches0.5 m3, the piston hits a set of stops and is restrained fromfurther upward travel. The system is heated to 200 C.(Use saturated water tables, steam tables, andsuperheated tables as necessary)
a)   If the piston reaches the stops, determinethe temperature and pressure when the piston first touches butexerts no force on the stops.  If the piston doesn’treach the stops, find the final volume.  Clearly show howyou determined whether or not the piston reaches the stops.
b)Â Â Â Calculate the heat and work for the entireprocess.
c)Â Â Â Show the entire process on a T-v and P-vdiagram including the saturation curve.
